Design:

Good SIP design is the foundation that enables our installers to perform their best. The PanelWrights design staff has a thorough background in all aspects of construction and enables them to understand how SIP's integrate into the project as a whole. Our designers use 3D design software to "build" each project in virtual reality to ensure the "problems" inherent in every design are worked out before any materials are spoiled.

Project Management:

Our Project Managers will work with you from initial bidding through the final punch-out. During the course of your project you may work directly with the Design Department or the Lead Installer, but your Project Manager is always available to assist you.

Engineering

SIPs are a pre-engineered product, meaning that their design properties are known, but sometimes the Official Having Jurisdiction (OHJ) will mandate that the SIP shop drawings be reviewed and sealed by a registered professional engineer. PanelWrights has formed a relationship with several structural engineers that have enlightened themselves with the load carrying capacities of SIPs and are able to review and seal our SIP shop drawings when required. Besides the OHJ, some of the triggers for requiring engineering review are: building within city limits, building in a high wind zone, building in a high snow load area, etc.

Factory Fabrication

PanelWrights takes complete advantage of the CNC machinery capabilities of our SIP manufacturers to provide the most precisely cut SIP package possible. In addition to completely pre-cutting all of the SIPs, we also provide all of the lumber required within the SIPs which includes bottom plates, top plates, door and window bucks, corner boards, posts, headers, etc. Not only is this lumber package shipped with the SIPs, whatever can be pre-installed in the factory is. This package is what we call Ready To Assemble (RTA). If you are comparing our price to another SIP supplier and you find a huge discrepancy, check for this service first.

Installation:
